Staying late in the office because of your Boss ?

If your job deserves and requires from you sometimes to give more time, then this is fine as long as you want to and are personally Ok with it, but never for the sake of staying because you have a boss who always enjoys giving those last moment extra tasks just because they are allergic to a 9 to 5 office timing routine !!!

The question here is: Are those extra hours of hard work being appreciated or seen as dedication?

Are you lucky by working with bosses who force you to go home when they pass through those hallways and see you late and tired in the office?

Believe it or not, I have seen across the years senior people sitting on their desks on high alert with their bags packed and ready to go home after a long day, but afraid to leave because their bosses were still there, and they are the same who celebrate when their bosses travel so that they can leave on time during their absence....

One day you may become replaceable at work but you can never be replaceable at home as a mother, a father, or a family member.
