'What A Joke!' Swara Bhaskar Trolled For Saying She Doesn't Get Work Despite 6-7 Hit Films
Whatever Swara Bhaskar says or does, it makes headlines.
From joining a political rally to simply posting a picture on Instagram, trolls are always waiting to greet her with pure venom on social media.
The Veere Di Wedding actress earlier went viral on social media for an interview she gave to the Times of India.
She talked about how her professional career isn’t moving forward with the speed she expected for an actor of her calibre, despite working in commercially successful films.
Swara Bhaskar said, “I've chosen consciously to put at risk the thing that is most dear to me, and that is my work. And the cost has been huge and it's been personal and emotional in the sense that I don't get to do the thing that I love doing, which is acting. I don't get to do it enough."
The actress also added, "I'm a far better actor and a far more competent, and effective actor than the opportunities that come my way. I have a far better track record in terms of my career. I've been part of six or seven blockbuster films and like a whole bunch of web series [and] shows, led them. I've never had bad reviews pretty much. There shouldn't be a reason for me to feel like I don't get enough work but clearly, I don't."
Soon enough, netizens started trolling her for the interview.
From calling her a ‘failure’ to blaming her political affiliations for the dip in her career, she was attacked viciously from all sides.
