According to astrologer Chakrapani Bhatt of Kashi, Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month will start at 12:39 PM on September 18 and continue till 01:43 PM on September 19. Keeping in view the Udayatithi, the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration will begin on September 19.

This year, Ravi Yoga is being formed on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, which is from 06:08 AM to 01:48 PM. The auspicious time for Ganesh Chaturthi Puja is from 11:01 AM to 01:28 PM.

Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: An Auspicious Time to Bring Ganpati Home

On September 19, you can bring the idol of Lord Ganesha home for Ravi Yoga because the puja time on that day is in the afternoon. However, for those who want to bring Ganpati home a day earlier, on September 18, the auspicious time for them is Abhijit Muhurat. It is considered best to bring Ganpati Bappa home. Abhijit Muhurta on September 18 is from 11:51 AM to 12:40 PM. Ravi Yoga on that day is from 12:08 PM to 06:08 AM the next day.

Apart from Abhijit Muhurta, devotees can also bring Ganpati to their homes in the auspicious Choghadiya Muhurta.

While bringing Ganpati Bappa home, devotees should keep Rahukaal in mind. Rahukaal on September 18 is from 07:39 AM to 09:11 AM. Lord Ganesha should not be brought home during Rahukaal as it can be inauspicious for the family.
