Renault India’s 2024 Line-Up Unveiled: Kiger, Kwid, Triber and Hints at Future Models

Renault India has kickstarted 2024 with a bang, launching the updated Kiger, Kwid, and Triber models in the Indian market. The Kiger, starting at an ex-showroom price of ₹5.99 lakh, now boasts design upgrades like a ‘welcome-goodbye sequence’, auto-folding OVRMs, and red brake callipers for the turbo version. The Kwid, priced from ₹4.69 lakh, retains its design but adds over 14 new standard safety features and introduces more affordable AMT variants. Meanwhile, the Triber, starting at ₹5.99 lakh, now includes a Stealth Black color option and a host of new features.

2024 Renault Kiger

The 2024 Renault Kiger’s design evolution includes a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, semi-leatherette seats, and a bezel-less internal rearview mirror. The RXT(O) variant and above now come with automatic climate control and electrically foldable OVRMs, enhancing the driving experience.

2024 Renault Kwid

The 2024 Renault Kwid emphasizes safety with features like ESC, TCS, HSA, TPMS, and a rear seatbelt reminder. Additionally, the hatchback now offers more accessible AMT variants, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.

2024 Renault Triber

The new Triber 2024 MPV showcases improved comfort and technology. Features like a driver seat armrest, powerfold ORVMs, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, and a wireless charger mark significant enhancements. Safety is also a priority, with the model boasting over 15 standard safety features and a 4-star G-NCAP rating.

Renault’s Future Roadmap

Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO & Managing Director of Renault India Operations, remarked on the occasion, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to delivering value and creating delightful experiences. Renault’s roadmap includes the launch of five new products by 2027, potentially including a new Duster and a 7-seat version based on the Bigster concept. The company’s investment in India underlines its dedication to the ‘Make in India’ vision.

The Anticipation for a New Duster

While not explicitly confirmed, the anticipation for a new Duster is high. The upcoming SUV, expected to be based on the CMF-B platform, may arrive in India late next year. The company’s communication also hints at an all-electric Kwid EV, aimed at competing in the burgeoning electric vehicle market in India.
