Mumbai: Phulera Dooj will be celebrated on March 12, 2024, which is a Tuesday. In 2023, Phulera Dooj was celebrated on 21 February. The festival is observed every year on the second day of the bright fortnight of the Falgun month. Phulera Dooj is considered highly auspicious for significant events such as engagements or weddings/vivah.

Phulera Dooj marks the beginning of Holi in the entire Braj region, including Mathura and Vrindavan.
