Trek routes for Jivdhan Fort

It takes about an hour to reach the fort. The trek comes in the easy to medium category. The height of the fort is about 3757 feet and Ghatghar is the base village. There are two ways to go to the fort. There is a route from Ghatghar for both paths.

The first route is to go to the fort from Ghatghar via Kalyan Darwaza. The initial route passes through a dense forest. After that, there are rock-cut steps. Although the steps are broken, because of the railings you will feel safe. These steps will lead you directly to Kalyan Darwaza. But the last climb near the entrance takes a bit of effort.

Another way is to take a short detour to the fort from Ghatghar and reach the fort via Junnar Darwaza. The door has completely collapsed. Very few tourists use this route.
