I got a chance to travel through the southern part of India few years back. Most of my friends were from Southern India, so they took up the role of tour guide as we explored various tourists spots in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Situated near Punallur toen, Kollam district, Thenmala Ecotourism is said to be India’s first planned eco-tourisn destination. The place is divided into different zones. Let’s first walk into the Leisure Zone.
Looming trees and paths shadowed by tall trees, doesn’t let you feel the scorching summer sun. Don’t forget to keep a bottle of water with you.
The theme of the garden is Man and Nature. On the trail you can see many intriguing sculptures
A father and son, spending some time with nature.
The Dancers in various poses.
This sculpture has a very thoughtful caption.
“People may meet in candle light, but to unite the soul need inner light”
