Raas Leela Poem Poem by Vamshi Durgam

Raas Leela Poem

Deep in meditation I was swaying
On my white mountains of kailash
Chill winds found disappearing
With sweet melodies surfacing

Wondered the source is a Flute bamboo
From gardens of brindavan it flew
Through a celestial being of magical blue
A source of transcendental avenue

My heart sprung in to a love flower
My body's wet in a perfume shower
rained by winds of Brindavan lover
To witness the interlude, need of hour

I ran to the banks of Yamuna river
To dance with the blue man power
Yet faced a halt by Goddess River
As no man can enter the Leela fever

I turned a woman of perfection
To be a part of Krishna's seduction
To be a part of Krishna's abduction
To be a part of Krishna's temptation

To dance with him in the love garden
To dance with him as a maiden
To dance with him in a trance of blue
As a girl full of madness of magic blue

His musical notes injected my heart
Infecting every nerve drew love art
His Leela broke my rigor apart
His Raas made me a part of his heart.
