Ayesha Takia Slams Trolls After Getting Criticized For Her Looks: Get Over Me Yaar!

Bollywood and plastic surgery go hand in hand. From time to time, actors have been giving minor touch-ups to their faces and bodies to stay young and relevant. While some work well, others turn out to be a major disaster. One such thing happened with Dil Maange More actress Ayesha Takia.

The early 2000s actress, who created an uproar in Bollywood with her movies like Wanted, Salaam-E-Ishq, and more, was brutally trolled after she made a rare appearance at Mumbai airport.

Ayesha Takia, who has been away from the limelight and celluloid for over a decade, made a rare appearance as she was flying to Goa with her family. Ever since she tied the knot, the actress has taken a step back and stayed away from the media.

While she was recently flying out of town, Ayesha was stopped by the paparazzi and asked to pose for them. That's when fans and followers saw a drastic change in the actress. It was a total then vs. now moment for her, as netizens almost didn't recognize her.

The internet went on to troll her burtally and even call names. However, the Socha Na Tha actress isn't someone who will turn a deaf ear to the trolls. Instead, she gave a befitting reply by taking it to her Instagram.

In her recent Instagram post, the actress revealed she was flying to Goa for a medical emergency. Reportedly, her sister has been in and out of the hospital for some health issues.

Sharing a long note on Instagram, Ayesha wrote, 'I need to say this. I rushed to Goa two days ago. I had a medical emergency in my family. My sister has literally been in the hospital. Amidst all this, I remember being stopped by paps and posing for them for basically a few seconds before flying off. It turns out there are no other important issues in the country except dissecting my looks.'

She didn't stop here. Ayesha Takia went on to clarify that she has no intentions of making any sort of comeback to Bollywood. She is happy and content in her married life.

'Been bombarded by viral ridiculous opinions of how people think I should have looked and don't. Literally, get over me, yaar. I have zero interest in doing any films or any comebacks, like people are saying. I'm living my life happily, never want to be in the limelight, not interested in any fame, don't want to be in any film... So chill.. Please feel free to not care about me at all,' she further added.

She even added that if people expect her to look exactly the way she did 15 years ago, that is unrealistic. She also urged the trolls to find better things to do.

'Expecting a girl who has mostly been seen in her teens to look identical even after 15 years... How unrealistic and ridiculous are these people? Lol, please find better things to do with your time rather than pick apart good-looking women. I'm blessed with a fabulous life and do not need your opinions save them for those interested. I'm sending back all your shitty energy," she wrote.

Ayesha concluded by saying, "Do better people, get a hobby, eat a fun meal, talk to your friend, smile, whatever it takes to not feel so unhappy that you need to tell a gorgeous happy woman how she's not looking like you wanted.'

Her recent post earned massive support from fans and followers on Instagram. The comments were filled with appreciation about how she took a stand and gave a solid response to the trolls.
