Shilpa Shetty Reveals ‘My Managers Get More Calls To Book Seats’ At Her Fancy Restaurant Than For Her Work
Shilpa Shetty opened up about how people call her managers to book her fancy restaurant than for her acting projects
Actress Shilpa Shetty is currently raking in all the love from her fans for her portrayal of Tara Shetty in Rohit Shetty’s web series Indian Police Force. Having made a name for herself with her versatile performances, dance numbers, and fashion statements over the past three decades, she never shies away from expressing her views and sharing details about her personal and professional life. During a recent interaction, she opened up about how people call her managers to book her fancy restaurant than for her acting projects.
In an interview with Zoom TV, she spoke about her fancy restaurant Bastian, and stated that her managers get calls for restaurant reservations and not for acting projects. She went on to mention that many social media experts attempted to estimate Bastian’s earnings. The 48-year-old actress went on to dismiss the guesses and stated that they often undervalue the restaurant’s actual income. Shilpa explained that her Bastian was the top contributor of GST among hospitality businesses in the previous fiscal year. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, the Indian Police Force actress stated, “They’re all wrong, and their numbers are totally wrong. We’re making much more than that (laughs). Last time we paid the highest GST for the hospitality. Further referring to the restaurant as her source of ‘pride and joy,’ Shetty added, “The hospitality business is something I had to transition into because I’m a Shetty, of course. So Ranjit Bindra, Raj and I are great partners because we are like-minded people. I didn’t have to do too much to run the business. He went to Laroche in Switzerland, so he knows how to handle hospitality.”
On the work front, Shilpa Shetty was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s web-series Indian Police Force co-starring Vivek Oberoi, Sidharth Malhotra, Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Lalit Parimoo, Sharad Kelkar and many others.
