Sunsets are beautiful in any place on this whole mother earth, but they are gorgeously awesome at only a few places and I must say, the Golden beach of Puri is one of the destinations which host thousands of people to view the inescapable sunsets every single day. To end the year of 2019, my sister and I, planned for a short beach destination vacation near to our place and we spontaneously selected Puri as such a destination where we can appreciate the place in both a spiritual and sophisticated manner.
On the day of our arrival in the city of Puri, from Visakhapatnam after 13 hours of travel in Indian railways, we checked into our hotel.

Soon after a little nap, we got decked up to view the sunset of Golden beach as we heard it would be beautiful from one of the restaurant servers at lunch. Hence, we decided to check it out.
The vibes of Golden beach were different. Unlike other beaches, the humidity and temperature levels are less and inexplicable. The waves of the Golden beach are too calm and hit the shore in a very beautiful way like ripples in rivers. The sand is soft and shallow, sometimes feels like heavy to walk through. And there comes the sky with Sun, a person who visits for the first time would drop his jaw for the view and say What a view!
Exactly, the whole view of the Golden Beach of Puri is so vast and huge. The sand, the shore, the waves, the sky, the wandering people, the vendors, the camels, the balloons and most importantly, the golden sun which is about to bid a bye for the day, all these elements should not be missed by a person who visits the city of Puri.
So, if you want to visit and view the whole process of sunset, it is heavily recommended to take chairs for rent at the shore from the people who charge you per hour to sit on the tinted plastic chairs on the shore to view the whole scenic beauty of the Golden beach. Same way, my sister and I, rented two chairs for forty rupees per hour (twenty each). The level of relaxation by sitting in these chairs and enjoying the beach was totally out of the box. We have experienced many sunsets, but this one was one of a kind.
The extraordinary view of the sun rays touching the slightly rippling waves of the Golden beach is indescribable. A person must watch with his naked eyes to fill the whole scene and cherish it forever. Well, I'm surely not exaggerating the view, I'm just trying to put words to frame a beautiful sentence to explain the whole scene of Golden sunset.
The hues of the sky visible in the colors of blue, orange, gold and pink shades. With the sea blue and sea green waves of the beach, the foamy whites of the waves which touch the shore, the beige hues of sand, the footprints of thousands of people, the golden sun rays on the water, the black boats, the ombre of orange and blue sky are too many colors for a human's eye to witness. Every shade of these colors makes a person get drenched in nature's beauty of the Golden Beach of Puri.
The view of Sun slightly drowning below the sky level and seems like getting drowned in the huge waters of Bay of Bengal is one scenic view a person shouldn't miss in a lifetime. And most importantly, as we have visited in the extreme winters, the scene was even prettier with the sensation of cold air on our bodies.
Imagine the warm sunset and the Cold breeze of the sea, this feeling of extremely overwhelmed with the scenic view can only be experienced at this place by just watching the sun bidding a bye and the moon arrives out of nowhere to take its duty for the night.
And most importantly, the twilight moment of Golden sunsets at Golden beach is also inexplicable. Hence, we have taken enough pictures to portray the beauty of the Golden beach of Puri to spread the word to the whole world and the travelers, especially all the thallasophiles, who love exploring beach spots in India.
