'Slept on the ground to stay away from Mehr': Neha Dhupia talks about battling Covid during second pregnancy

In a recent interview, Neha Dhupia spoke about the struggles and hardships she faced, along with her husband Angad Bedi, after testing positive for covid-19 during her initial pregnancy days.

Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia is expecting her second child with her husband and actor Angad Bedi. The couple found out about the pregnancy at a very difficult time. Soon after Neha got to know that she is expecting her second child, both she and her husband tested positive for coronavirus. They decided to isolate themselves and get treated under home quarantine.

In a recent interview, the actress talked about the hardships she faced when she contracted the deadly coronavirus. Recalling the difficult times, Neha said that she used to wear a mask on her face the whole day and she would even sleep on the floor away from her daughter, Mehr.

In a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Neha said, “I had a mild version of Covid. But I had a very large version of fear." She further added that she got to know about her Covid results while cases were peaking in Delhi.

“I had my mask on the whole day and I would sleep on the ground in a certain position staying away from Mehr because I am pregnant and I know there are certain ways of sleeping at that point but then she’ll be like, ‘But mama there is so much space on the bed, you sleep on the bed’ and I would try and tell her that there is a reason why I don’t even want to be close to her so we were working on too much caution and a lot of fear. But together we were very brave,” Neha said in the interview.
